Roseville, CA – Sept. 17, 2020 – With much excitement, @the Grounds is excited to host The Great Junk Hunt vintage market & swap meet on Friday and Saturday at the Roebbelen Center.
With the layout arranged to maximize health and safety guidelines, the Great Junk Hunt will provide a safe environment for curated vendors selling their best “junk.” Shoppers can immerse themselves in the styles of farmhouse, industrial, vintage, re-purposed, handmade and everything in between.
For Linda Albers, founder and owner of The Great Junk Hunt, the opportunity to safely gather means a great deal to each and every “junker.” As Albers describes, The Great Junk Hunt is more than just about shopping, but represents a certain experience. 
“The Great Junk Hunt is a vintage market fabulous, funky, upcycled, recycled junk,” said Albers. “We call it junk. We have a ‘junk tribe’ and we go junking. That’s what we do. I like watching the happy ‘junkers’ and their faces when they come in. I just love that. I love watching their faces and see how they reminisce about all the treasures they see or find different uses for the items they already have.”
Already established across the West Coast, the Great Junk Hunt rolls into Roseville with an impressive resume, including: Being voted top traveling vintage market in the USA by Flea Market Style magazine; listed as a TOP 5 Flea Market in America by Flea Market Decor magazine 2019; and named one of the Top 15 Flea Markets in America by Romantic Homes Magazine.
In addition to safety protocols adopted by the organizer, @the Grounds has implemented the SAFE. CLEAN. HEALTHY. campaign to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
Along with arranging the lay-out of the upcoming show, @the Grounds has installed hand-sanitation dispensers; signage to remind guests of good practices; and have screened employees/volunteers prior to the beginning of their shift.

Due to California State orders, face masks will be required. Children 2 years old and younger, people with a medical, mental health or developmental disability that prevents them from wearing a face covering are exempt, according to state orders.
The Great Junk Hunt will hold Early Bird and V.I.P. Events on Friday from 4:30 – 9 p.m. On Saturday, the event will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
