Community stage comes to life in Placer Place.

Memories are made at county fairs and with A Good Thing Growing at the Placer County Fair we invite you to come make some with us on June 20-23 @the Grounds in Roseville. Not only will you enjoy the return of all the county fair crowd favorites, but we have plenty of new attractions with something fun for everyone!

Nightly fireworks, silent disco, racing pigs and interactive tractor pedal pullers are a few of the exciting new attractions that are sure to be hit and all are included in with admission! Check out the daily schedule here!

We are also thrilled to announce that new this year Sunday, June 23 will be Family FUNday! This is the only day that the Placer County Fair will be open noon to 11 p.m. and it promises to be a day for kids and kids at heart! Johnson Hall will be transformed into Placer Place and the community stage will feature local live entertainment acts throughout the day!

Bach to Rock will be performing at noon, Jaime’s Martial Arts takes to the stage for some demo action at 1:45, 3 and 4:15 p.m., Thrive Cardio Drums will get things pumping at 2 and 3:15 p.m., Studio 65 Dance will grace the stage at 2:30 and 3:45 p.m., Tall Pine Trio will entertain with some jazz at 4:45 and 8 p.m., School of Rock’s House Band hits the stage at 5:45 p.m. and finally closing out the day is T5 Troupe singing Mamma Mia favorites at 7:15 p.m.

There will also be featured booths with interactive activities courtesy of the Arts Council of Placer County, Sierra College, California Youth Theater, Creative Arts and Music Center, Grizzly Gallery and Gifts, Auburn Symphony, Placer County Youth Orchestra and High Hand Gallery. Make sure to stop in, create something special and enjoy the live entertainment!

Don’t miss out on the evenings at the Placer County Fair when gates open at 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and close at 11 p.m. The official ribbon cutting will take place promptly at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 20 at the new ticket plaza for the Placer Valley Event Center!

Get your wristbands for unlimited carnival rides in advance and save! You can also pre purchase your admission tickets, prices are as follows: $7 for adults 13 and up, $3 for seniors 55 and up, $2 for youth ages 6 to 12 and free for children under 5. We can’t wait to see you all at the Placer County Fair!

@the Grounds, formerly the Placer County Fairgrounds and Event Center, is a multi-purpose event facility on nearly 60 fully landscaped acres in the heart of Roseville, California. For more than 80 years, @the Grounds has been the home of the Placer County Fair along with countless other community, family and corporate gatherings. In 2017 @the Grounds underwent major renovations that were made possible by the collaborative funding from Placer Valley Tourism, Placer County and the Placer Valley Sports Complex.
