Placer County Fair Announces Theme for 2019, A Good Thing Growing
The 82nd Placer County Fair will take place @the Grounds in Roseville on June 20-23. @the Grounds is excited to unveil a fresh new fair logo as well as a redesigned website that will provide up-to-date information with easy navigation for visitors. Fittingly the theme for the 2019 Placer County Fair is A Good Thing Growing.
“County fairs are designed to bring the community together while showcasing what makes that county special,” commented CEO of @the Grounds, David Attaway. “With the completed renovations @the Grounds has been transformed into a gem located right in the heart of Roseville. Combined with the current construction of the event center, we couldn’t think of a better theme for this year’s fair that truly highlights all of the amazing things we have planned for @the Grounds – A Good Thing Growing.”
”Vendor applications are currently being accepted for food, commercial and stage entertainment which can be downloaded here. The 2019 Livestock and Still Exhibitor handbooks will be available online by mid-April. Still exhibits are open to youth and adult participants with more than 120 divisions to choose from so put your talents to the test! Every exhibitor will receive a one-day admission ticket to the fair!
Be sure to mark your calendars for June 20-23 to experience a good thing growing at the Placer County Fair! Hours of operation will be 5 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. @the Grounds, formerly the Placer County Fairgrounds and Event Center, is a multi-purpose event facility on nearly 60 fully landscaped acres in the heart of Roseville, California. For more than 80 years, @the Grounds has been the home of the Placer County Fair along with countless other community, family and corporate gatherings. In 2017 @the Grounds underwent major renovations that were made possible by the collaborative funding from Placer Valley Tourism, Placer County and the Placer Valley Sports Complex.
