The Placer Veterans Stand Down (PVSD) is a nonprofit dedicated to giving back to our veteran community by providing FREE services to them and their family members. A hand up, not a hand out.
We offer annual events (once) a year and provide services including:
Meals & optional overnight accommodations
Haircuts & showers
PTSD counseling & assistance
Pet services: veterinarian staff, vaccinations & supplies
Clothing & personal care supplies
Health & Human Services Assistance
Dental, Medical, Vision services
DMV, legal services & child support (Placer County residents)
